Burleson’s housing stock skews newer than most of the Hobson footprint. The fast growth south of Fort Worth — Hidden Creek, Staples, Briaroaks, and the corridor along US-67 toward Joshua — brought thousands of new homes in the past 15 years, most fitted with builder-grade HVAC systems specced to hit a price point during construction.

Those systems are now 7–12 years old. We see the same failure patterns daily because the same equipment was installed at scale during the growth boom. Compressor stress from systems that were oversized to pass inspection quickly. Capacitor failures from chronic short-cycling. Refrigerant leaks at evaporator coils that were never quite tight from the factory. Control board issues on the lower-tier communicating equipment that builders installed in 2015–2018.

In the older Burleson neighbourhoods closer to the original city centre, the housing stock is different — established homes with 15- to 25-year-old systems that have been kept running through patient repair rather than replacement. We see those calls too, and the diagnostic approach is different. Older equipment, more refrigerant leaks, more compressor service.
